The MKE 600 is the ideal video camera/camcorder microphone able to handle even demanding filmic challenges. Due to its high directivity, the MKE 600 picks up sounds coming from the direction in which the camera is pointing and effectively attenuates noise coming from the sides and rear. The switchable “Low Cut” filter additionally minimizes wind noise.
Because some video cameras/camcorders do not provide phantom power, the MKE 600 can also be battery-powered. A battery on/off switch prevents the battery from discharging prematurely; “Low Batt” is displayed.

| The ultimate studio standard all over the world. For 50 years!
The Gold StandardThe Neumann U 87 Ai may be the best-known and most frequently used studio microphone the world over. Its smooth and refined sound is as iconic as its elegant exterior design. The U 87 Ai is the standard microphone for speech and vocals. Three polar patterns plus pad and low-cut options make it adaptable to a wide range of applications.
Omnipresent and Special
The Neumann U 87 Ai is a true legend. Introduced in 1967, it has shaped the sound of countless hit records for the past 50 years. And when those hits were announced on the radio, many a DJ sat before a U 87 Ai.
The U 87 Ai is the epitome of a large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Its tapered body and iconic design have become part of the collective consciousness—this is what a studio microphone looks like. The same is true of its sound; the U 87 Ai represents studio quality and has become the gold standard by which other microphones are measured.
What sets the U 87 Ai apart is its special combination of linearity and character. Although its on-axis frequency response is remarkably flat, it does exert certain charisma, making the U 87 Ai both versatile and instantly recognizable.
Classic Neumann EngineeringTechnically speaking, the U 87 Ai is a traditional design whose timeless formula has remained unchanged for decades. The U 87 Ai uses the same dual-diaphragm condenser capsule design as its predecessor, the no less legendary U 67 of the early 1960s. Its head amplifier, too, is based on the same design principles as its tube-driven predecessor, but the U 87 Ai realizes them by means of a FET circuit with a minimal signal path and a transformer-balanced output, ensuring maximum signal integrity and high common mode rejection.
Versatile ApplicationsThe result is a studio microphone of unmatched clarity. Its natural sound and midrange presence make the U 87 Ai the ultimate vocal microphone, praised by singers and engineers alike as well as the prime choice for speech applications, such as voice-over, dubbing, and audiobooks. Due to its balanced response in each of its three directional patterns, the U 87 Ai is also a versatile microphone for anything from acoustic guitars to drums overheads. Due to its solid bass response and excellent midrange detail, it is often seen in front of the bass and guitar cabinets. For classical recordings, the U 87 Ai is frequently used as a spot mic for soloists, e.g. cello. A stereo pair of U 87 Ai mics is the preferred choice of many engineers for recording piano in virtually any genre from pop and jazz to classical music.

The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-835-S is an easy-to-set-up rackmount wireless handheld microphone system that brings high-quality, reliable audio to presenters, clergy, lecturers, and performers working in business and educational settings, houses of worship, theaters, or on musical stages.
The EW 100 G4-835-S features a true diversity, half-rack receiver housed in a rugged, full-metal chassis. The receiver’s auto-scan function searches a wide 42 MHz UHF tuning range with 1680 selectable frequencies available, seeking out a clean, interference-free channel for your audio transmission.
This system includes an SKM 100 G4-S handheld transmitter equipped with an interchangeable MMD 835 dynamic cardioid microphone capsule optimized for speech. The handheld transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a fixed 30mW RF power output and a transmission range up to 330′. Up to 12 wireless mics can operate simultaneously in the same space, with the receivers linked together for a fast, multi-channel frequency setup.
The EW 100 G4-835-S is backward-compatible with previous evolution systems. You can mix and match G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack, handheld, and plug-on transmitters. It is also compatible with EW 300/500 systems.
Lightweight Handheld Transmitter with MMD 835 Cardioid Capsule
The MMD 835 dynamic capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback. The rugged, all-metal handheld transmitter features a mute function and can be locked out to prevent accidental changes during a performance. A backlit LCD displays essential information and provides fast menu access. The transmitter syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press of the Sync button.
The SKM 100 G4-S is powered via two AA batteries or a rechargeable BA 2015 Accupack battery (available separately). An LA 2 charging adapter (available separately) allows for recharging the Accupack without removing it from the transmitter—requires the L 2015 quick-charging unit (available separately).
The transmitter’s interchangeable capsule design allows you to use a variety of optional dynamic and condenser mic capsules, with pickup patterns ranging from wide omnidirectional to narrow super cardioid —capsules include the MMD 835, MMD 845, MME 865, MMD 935, MMD 945, and MMD 42.
Easy-to-Operate Receiver with True-Diversity Reception
The robust, metal EM 100 receiver offers a high-contrast, black-and-white LCD. The display uses a streamlined menu system with a dedicated Escape button for quick menu navigation and shows battery status of the associated transmitter. The system features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 compatible frequency presets and 1 user bank with up to 12 user-programmable frequencies.
To prevent interference, the EM 100 receiver’s true-diversity reception compares incoming signals on two independent receiver circuits to ensure optimal RF quality. To ensure crystal clear audio, Sennheiser’s proprietary HDX compander technology maximizes the microphone’s signal-to-noise ratio, while avoiding RF noise.
The built-in equalizer enables you to change the frequency response of the output signal; you can reduce the bass range and boost the treble range. The receiver also offers an adjustable output level range of 48 dB to match the audio input of your mixing board or PA system. Musicians will appreciate the built-in guitar tuner.
The back panel houses a balanced XLR output as well as an unbalanced 1/4″ output. A kit is included for rackmount installation. The unit comes with a universal power supply and EU, US, UK, Korea, Australia, and China adapters.
Fast Multi-Channel Setup for Expanded System
To simplify and speed up your workflow, two RJ10 data networking ports allow you to daisy-chain up to 12 receivers and quickly perform a frequency setup for the entire multi-channel system via the Easy Setup function. If you assign the frequencies manually, you can expand the setup to accommodate a maximum of 20 receivers. An RJ10 cable is included.
Enhance the Performance of Your System
The detachable antennas with BNC sockets allow you to create a larger system using up to four EM 100 receivers connected to a single pair of remote antennas. This setup requires the ASA 214 active antenna splitter (available separately).Adding a pair of A 1031-U omnidirectional antennas or a pair of A 2003 UHF directional antennas increases the range of your system and offers increased protection against interference.
